Erik serves as Senior Vice President, Legal Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for Crescent Capital Group LP, and is Chief Compliance Officer of Crescent’s BDC platform. Before joining Crescent in 2022, Erik was Vice President, Legal & Compliance at The Carlyle Group, where he served as the chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for the BDCs within the firm’s Global Credit platform. Prior to then, Erik held roles at Avenue Capital Group, Cohen & Steers, and J. & W. Seligman & Co., focusing on legal and regulatory matters for registered investment companies.

Erik received a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
