George Hawley
General Counsel
George is a Managing Director at Crescent Capital and serves as the firm’s General Counsel. He joined Crescent in 2012 from Trust Company of the West (TCW), where he was a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel supporting the Leveraged Finance Group, Crescent’s predecessor at TCW. Prior to TCW, he was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, specializing in asset management, securities, finance and restructuring, and general corporate matters. He began his legal career at Baker, Keener & Nahra, where he practiced litigation.
George received a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from Loyola Law School.
