Scott Carpenter
Scott is a Managing Director at Crescent Capital and Co-Head of Crescent Direct Lending. He is also a member of Crescent’s Executive Committee. He joined Crescent in 2012 from HighPoint Capital Management, where he was a Co-Founder and Executive Vice President. Prior to HighPoint, he was Northeast Marketing Manager for Bank of America Business Capital, and before that, Senior Vice President and Senior Marketing Officer at Fleet Capital. Earlier in his career, Scott successfully opened and led the Boston office of PNC Business Credit. Scott also served as Vice President of Finance at Joan Fabrics, where he managed the company’s finance and accounting departments as well as its internal credit function.
Scott has been a member of numerous local business associations including the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and has been a Board member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Upstate New York Turnaround Management Association.
Scott holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
