Vicky Lai
Vicky is a Managing Director at Crescent Capital, focusing on Investor Solutions. She is responsible for covering institutional investors in Greater China and the UK. She joined Crescent in 2019 from First Avenue, a global placement agent, where she was a Managing Director and Head of Greater China. She has raised capital for a range of managers, leveraging an extensive network and deep relationships in the institutional marketplace—particularly among insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, and corporate pension plans in the UK, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. She is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and has previously worked at Linklaters and Norton Rose. She speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka (Kejia), and English.
Vicky received an honors degree in Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China and an MA from the University of Manchester in the UK.
