Louis Lavoie
Managing Director
Mr. Lavoie is a Managing Director of Crescent Credit Europe LLP focusing on junior debt. Prior to joining the Crescent Mezzanine team in 2004, Mr. Lavoie was with Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (“CDPQ”). As a Senior Director of CDPQ, Mr. Lavoie was responsible for managing a portfolio of leveraged assets as well as collateralized debt obligations and leveraged buyout fund investments. Mr. Lavoie also managed CDPQ’s European Leveraged Finance unit in Paris, France. From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Lavoie was in commercial banking with Scotia Bank. Mr. Lavoie received his MBA from HEC Montreal in Canada and his BA from Laval University in Canada.
